She brings unique healthcare finance skills and great expertise for healthcare innovation to her investing role. She made significant positive investment decisions in both public and private equity, worked in large and small biotech/pharma companies, and led a team of stem cell transplant physicians in her most recent role in academic medicine.

Dr. Rimm’s passion for this work grows from her professional experience with the lifesaving capacity of new medicines. Early in her career, she cared for two children with terminal pediatric oncologic diseases. Dr. Rimm began her career as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Pediatric Oncology) and an Attending Physician in Bone Marrow Transplant Units. She served on the Harvard Medical School Faculty for seven years.

Given Dr. Rimm’s MD and PhD, her recently earned CFA designation has generated an investor with a truly unique combination of skills. Dr. Rimm bridges the worlds of finance, medicine, and science and she brings exceptional insights to healthcare investment. She was the youngest person to ever receive an MD, PhD (Immunology) from Harvard Medical School. She also earned a BS with Honors from University of Wisconsin.
